With the holiday season upon us and the season of giving in the air, T.J.'s Plumbing and Heating is asking for you to answer to a ''Countywide Call to Fight Hunger.''The demand for food is increasing daily, and the challenges for many have become insurmountable. Please join T.J.'s Plumbing and Heating, in conjunction with St. Susan's Center, in the fight against hunger this holiday season. T.J.'s is sponsoring several drop-off points for non-perishable food items. They include St. Susan's Center, Time Warner Cable, The Post-Journal and the Media One Group of radio stations. If you would like to contribute but cannot connect with one of our drop-off points, T.J.'s will be happy to schedule pick-up of your donations. Call 488-0066 for pick up.''Whether you want to give to Jamestown's soup kitchen or if you prefer to help someone in your own neighborhood, please do one or the other,'' Langer said. ''You never know what is going to happen in life, and now is the time that we can make a difference.''T.J.'s Plumbing and Heating, in the spirit of giving back to the community that has received the company so well, pledges to make a cash gift to St. Susan's Center. For every 1,000 cans of food donated to the drive, T.J.'s will make a cash gift to provide 250 additional meals. Please give whatever you can to make this season brighter and better for Chautauqua County.Non-perishable food items needed include soups, stews, juice, fruit, vegetables and milk, though anything you with to donate will be graciously appreciated.
T.J.'s wishes a happy holiday season to the entire community and asks you to join us in brightening the holidays for others.
